Klapp Your Hands for Switzerland's up-and-coming athletes:
Membership in Team Suisse of the Swiss Sports Aid.
The enthusiasm for the outstanding achievements of our young athletes in a wide variety of sports last summer – from football to athletics – was palpable at the more than 1,600 schools that use Klapp. We, too, were deeply moved and impressed by what these young Swiss sporting talents accomplished. Many of them, by the way, are excellent role models for so many students at our schools.
Sport inspires, connects, and is a true school of life for many students – just like it is for us.
That's why we're going a step further and becoming a member of Team Suisse of the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation. For 55 years, this organization has supported and promoted young, talented athletes throughout Switzerland in over 80 sports, including disability sports, thus ensuring that new little Odermatts, Schurters, Russis, Bencics, Kambundjis and Cancellaras will continue to grow up and inspire us with their achievements.
We have been considering for some time how we, too, could make a meaningful, fair, and effective contribution to the development of talented young athletes, because sport – especially team sport – is a motivating and meaningful life lesson that is also practiced and highly valued in Swiss schools. Furthermore, many of these successful young Swiss athletes serve as excellent role models for many students, providing positive motivation.

The official launch of membership in Team Suisse of Swiss Sports Aid fittingly took place in a relaxed atmosphere on the sidelines of the annual "Sporthilfe Super10Kampf" event, which was held on October 31, 2025, at the Hallenstadion in Zurich. The event – featuring many Swiss sporting stars – was broadcast by SRF and hosted by SRF sports presenter Sascha Ruefer and former ski racer Tina Weirather. The who's who of Swiss sports was there: wrestling champions, world champions, Olympic medalists, and up-and-coming talents, all competing in unique, fun, and exciting games.
This event will be rebroadcast on SRF 1 next Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 8:10 pm : highly recommended and for a good cause, as the Sporthilfe Super10Kampf is all about sports:
The proceeds will benefit the promotion of Swiss athletes.

The Swiss Sports Aid Foundation supports Swiss athletes on their path to the top. Particularly in youth sports and niche sports, where media presence, major sponsors, and high prize money are lacking, Swiss Sports Aid helps performance-oriented sports talents and their families to cope with the financial challenges of a career in elite sports.
With approximately 11 million Swiss francs annually, the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation supports more than 1,200 promising young Swiss athletes thanks to broad public support, the Loterie Romande, Swisslos, the Swiss Sports Promotion Foundation, businesses, and other foundations. The funds are distributed in the form of individual grants, sponsorships, and awards to talented athletes from over 80 sports. 2025 has been a very successful year so far for the Sports Aid Foundation, which has supported a total of 120 medal winners at World or European Championships.
